So two months since Hurricane Hermine kicked us out of our last home, we managed to find a new and better home to live in. Rent is higher, but the place is really nice! I've a working fire place, but it does me no good since Florida is determined to stay hot well into Fall. Things have settled down thankfully, pictures are up, things are where they're suppose to be, and the animals have adjusted well. The neighborhood is nice, sadly (for me) it is not a huge trick or treat destination. Other than that I can't complain.
I've got one and half more months of school remaining and should everything go right, I'm set to graduate with my B.A. in History! I'm looking into the Master's program (Public History), but I won't actually get into it until like....2018. Turns out I didn't find out about the sign up date till three months to the due date. And I need to time to study for the GRE test, which is expensive to take. Get the references I need, show proof that I can use primary sources in papers, proof that I can actually right a decent paper, and I'm sure there's more I'm missing right now.....It's so overwhelming I wonder if I should even go for it. I've already decided I don't need a Ph.D...as nice as it would be to be called Doctor...lol inner fan girl humor.
Job is still going well at the museum, the school field trips are starting to pick up now, so large and multiple groups of kids are a thing now. I'm not complaining, I get nervous with them, only because I don't know how to act around them. Though these kids have some of the most interesting questions and comments I have ever heard.
